Flash Entertainment walks away with two awards at the  middle east event awards 2010. 

Abu Dhabi, UAE, 27 May 2010: Abu Dhabi based Flash Entertainment, the region’s premier live events company, last night won two awards at the prestigious Middle East Event Awards 2010, held at The Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai. Considered by many to be the premier of the Middle East events trade industry, the 3rd edition of the Middle East Event Awards was attended by the region’s leading event designers, producers, business owners and other professionals.

The shortlisted nominees for this year’s most prestigious accolade for the events industry - the Middle East Event Awards - are scheduled to be announced on Tuesday, May 11th 2010.

Going for Green

A new initiative for this year is achieving Carbon Neutral status for the event.  The Middle East Event Awards has teamed up with EcoVentures to assist with the process.  To help the event become Carbon Neutral, EcoVentures estimated the greenhouse gas emissions of the event and will offset these emissions through the purchase of carbon credits.   With 2010 as a baseline year, The Middle East Event Awards will implement emissions reduction strategies and substantially reduce the carbon footprint for next year’s event.
