William (Bill) John O'Toole BSc, MEng, CFEE
William (Bill) O'Toole BSc, MEng, CFEE is the Manager of EPMS Pty Ltd. and Founding Director of Event Management Body of Knowledge (EMBOK). William O'Toole has been creating and organising events for more than 25 years. He is a sought-after presenter and teacher in event management in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Taiwan, UK, USA, Malaysia and the Middle East. He works as an events development specialist for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, European Commission, Aqaba Tourism and the Department of Tourism, Commerce and Marketing, Dubai and for Deloitte Touché.
William has authored three international texts on event management, These textbooks are used for tertiary courses around the world and have been translated into Chinese, Indonesian, Korean and Portuguese. His latest text, Events Feasibility and Development, maps the pathway for countries, cities and companies to develop their events industry. His adaptation of project management to event and festival management as published on his CDRom, www.epms.net, is used for events in USA, Europe and China.
Each year William trains event staff in the MENA region in the use of project management to deliver their events.
Bill is not only versed in theory but currently organises concerts, festivals and other events around Australia and throughout Asia.
